Ally Walker talks Angel’s Perch on Good Day LA

Ally stopped by Good Day L.A. this week to talk about the wide release of Angel’s Perch (and winds up doing an incredible summersault)! Check out the video below!

Live Chat on Spreecast

We got some of the team together (J.T., Kim, Charles and Ellen) on Release week to have a live chat on Spreecast! Did you miss it? Don’t worry, you can watch the whole thing below! Enjoy!

Official release set for December 1st! DVD/Blu-ray pre-orders available NOW!

We are so thrilled to announce that, after 125+ screenings in theaters across the country, Angel’s Perch will be available on cable On Demand, iTunes, Amazon and DVD/Blu-ray December 1st! Our distributor Gravitas did an incredible job placing us with the largest cable providers in the country—making us available in over 100 million homes. That means if you have friends and family outside of WV, or folks who are on the caregiving path who might find comfort in this film, chances are it will be available in their living room!

A successful cable launch is all about timing, and getting the word out. In the same way that our incredible Angel-powered theatrical run led to us being picked up by Gravitas, a strong Cable On Demand showing could lead to a network TV sale (think Hallmark, Oxygen, Lifetime)! And here’s how we make that happen: On December 1, we want to create a Thunderclap! By clicking here, you can be part of a coordinated message that will go out and let folks know about the film. Thunderclap will post our message on all of our Facebook walls and Twitter feeds at the same time, and if enough of us do it, we could get #AngelsPerch and #EndAlz to trend far and wide.

Want to help us spread the word, but not on Facebook or Twitter? No problem! A quick email to friends and family on our behalf on December 1 is even better! We’ll provide sample language and a reminder as we get closer. As always, thank you for joining us on this journey—we wouldn’t be here without you!

The wait is finally over…just in time for the holiday season, we are thrilled to announce that our web store is open, featuring t-shirts, posters, DVDs, Blu-rays, and more! The Angel’s Perch DVDs and Blu-rays include over 2 hours of bonus features, including a commentary track, bloopers & deleted scenes, and a behind-the-music mini-documentary. We will be accepting pre-orders for DVDs and Blu-rays in November, which will ship to you December 1; everything else in the webstore is available now and will ship immediately.  Click here to shop NOW!

Don’t like shopping online? Angel’s Perch merchandise can also be found at select WV retailers in December. Details to follow!

It’s Finally Official (and we can finally tell you!)

We’re so sorry to have teased you friends, but the ink is now dry, and the news is in: we’ve been picked up for distribution by Gravitas Ventures!

Gravitas VenturesGravitas is the top distributor working in the digital realm–through its relationships with the studios, cable operators, and online platforms, Gravitas can distribute a film into over 100 million North American and 1 billion worldwide homes. Gravitas has also picked us up for broadcast, which means that if there is a TV Network deal to be made, they will make it!

What does this mean? If all goes to plan, we should be available in early winter via Cable On Demand, and on DVD/Bluray. As soon as we have the details, we’ll let you know—and we have some pretty cool plans for how you can help us spread the word (but only if you want to!) Your recommendation is worth more than all the Facebook ads in the world.

Great Review from Columbus, OH

After hosting a sold out screening in Columbus, OH on August 14th, Ann Nepoletan from The Long & Winding Road took the time to write up a truly wonderful review of our little film. Give her some love and go check it out here – Film Review: Angel’s Perch.

We can’t thank Ann enough for helping to spread the word and for all her work in hosting a successful screening in Columbus! Are you interested in hosting a screening in your town? Stay tuned for a Q&A with Ann as we talk with her on how she made the event such a success!
